Decatur Animal Clinic is a locally owned and operated veterinary clinic. 

We have been proudly serving central Illinois for over 70 years!

The last couple of years have been challenging, and we continue to adjust to the challenges put before us.  

We are the only walk in clinic in the area and with the decreased number of veterinarians and staff in our area, we are very busy and constantly working to minimize wait times. 

For over 40 years, after hours veterinary emergencies in Decatur were seen by a group of local veterinarians working together on a call rotation. 

This group has become smaller each year and along with staff shortages is currently too small to adequately handle local emergencies.

Beginning December 31, 2021, we will no longer have local emergency service.
